The cold winter months dehydrate our skin leaving it dull and in desperate need of a scrub. Most people are afraid of using scrubs because they think it will dehydrate their skin further causing them scars and surprisingly more acne (as you know, the drier the skin the more the oils are produced by our sebaceous glands and voilathe more acne!). Our answer is: Chocolate!
Chocolate contains potent antioxidants that ward off free radical’s damage and fatty acids that nourish the skin leaving it feeling soft and pampered, especially during the dry winter season. In addition, chocolate aids in the preventing of aging as it defends damage by protecting your skin from harmful UV rays thanks to its antioxidant flavonoids. In a nutshell, chocolate not only tastes amazing, it also provides your skin with moisture and a healthy glow.
